With our views over the beautiful Beamish Valley and tranquil surroundings, South Causey Inn and Equestrian Centre is the rural gateway to traditional North Eastern hospitality.

Located in over 100 acres of grounds, we overlook Beamish and are just a short drive away from the business and shopping centres of the Metro Centre in Gateshead and the Cities of Newcastle and Durham with World Heritage Site Status.

Our stone built and newly re-furbished Inn is adjacent to South Causey Equestrian Centre, which houses 100 horses and a lively Riding School, as well as Beamish Lakes, our very own series of lakes full of Brown, Rainbow and Blue Trout!

Our country Inn has 16 ensuite bedrooms. The Bar and Snug have log beams, oak floors, open fires and an eclectic mix of wooden period furniture. We have several Event Rooms which can accommodate small intimate gatherings or larger functions for up to 100 guests, making South Causey Inn the ideal choice for that relaxing short break, family functions, weddings or business trip.

We serve meals from 12pm until 9pm Monday to Saturday and from 12pm until 8.30pm every Sunday, so please feel free to drop in any time and see us!
