Bank Holiday Junior and Senior Rides - Monday 26th May 2008 Senior Ride Beginning with a hearty breakfast in South Causey Inn at 10am, we will be leaving the yard at approximately 10.30 for a leisurely amble through the beautiful surrounding countryside with the odd canter along the way. We will be returning at 12.30 when riders will be involved in feeding and hosing down the horses before turning them out. You are then free to ease those aching muscles with a drink in the sunshine on the front lawn! The price of this 2 hour ride including breakfast is £25, places are striclty limited and must be booked in advance. Please be aware that all riders must be able to walk, trot and canter. Riders who have not previously ridden at South Causey are more than welcome and should contact us for an assessment lesson. Junior Picnic Ride Riders can arrive from 1pm onwards to help groom and tack up their ponies before trotting out at 1.30 for a fun filled hack around the Beamish Valley, stopping off for our picnics on the way! The price of this 2 hour ride is £20 and places should be booked early to avoid disappointment. All junior riders must wear body protectors (we do have a small number available to hire).
